what happened:
Last weekend was Anzac weekend and lots of dawn services were held and attended by people around the world. Lots of soldiers from New Zealand and Australia fought millions of miles from home. In north Canterbury it was a different story, one hundred horses and riders marched into town. With many of those remembering being national service men and woman around the country.
On Sunday the Black Caps played against Australia in the cricket world cup
final at the MCG cricket ground in Melbourne. We sadly lost by seven wickets. Now Australia
has won five cricket world cups. New Zealand only scored 183 when batting.
Grant Elliot played best out of the team, scoring eighty three runs in the
game. Ninety four thousand people came to watch the game.
On Easter Sunday it was my Birthday and I got a new bike. Later in the evening charlie came over for dinner and we had an as ado and we had an Easter egg hunt. At my house we watched happy feet and Charlie watched me play on my tablet and then we had pudding. For pudding we had a cake with chocolate icing and strawberries and cream and then Charlie went home.
